Cromwell Environmental has been performing construction services since our founding in 1982. Our company was begun by two architects with a passion for green construction, solar energy, and environmental services, and we’ve grown to include the capabilities of a full-service construction company.

A History of Construction Service Expertise
Our general construction expertise began as we filled a need for clients who had building components removed in the course of mold remediations, asbestos abatements, and similar work. Cromwell Environmental stepped in to provide the “other half” of these jobs, building back what had to be removed good as new. From there, we added expertise in source prevention, fixing areas of water intrusion into a home or commercial facility such as plumbing and drainage repairs, roofs, and window and siding replacement.
As our firm began performing energy audits, we also began carrying out the improvements our audits identified, like HVAC and water heater replacements, insulation improvements, and weatherproofing. On the solar side, we added construction service proficiencies in reroofing, strengthening the structural integrity of a roof to hold solar, as well as carport and pergola design and installation and parking lot repairs.

Post-Remediation Build-back
Building back better than before.
During a mold remediation project, affected building materials such as sheetrock, wood trim, and carpet that cannot be cleaned are removed. Likewise, in an asbestos abatement we will commonly remove asbestos wrapped ductwork or other asbestos-containing materials. Once the remediation or abatement is complete, Cromwell can easily replace the removed material while we are onsite, saving you time and hassle.
From replacing just a few square feet of sheetrock to completely rebuilding a kitchen, Cromwell can professionally handle all aspects of the build-back quickly with as little disruption as possible. If you have a commercial space, our commercial facilities team can get your building back to normal quickly, even working overnight if needed to avoid disrupting your normal work.
