Meth House Cleanup

Properties used to cook methamphetamines, often called meth houses, can be severely contaminated with dangerous residues. Safely occupying or selling a former meth house requires professional remediation to ensure no one is hurt, or exposed to liability. Meth house testing is required by some states, but not all of them.

Cromwell Environmental has tested and cleaned thousands of former meth houses to ensure meth residues are caught and eliminated, making them safe to live in once again. Professional meth house testing and potential remediation is an important step toward easing the minds of potential buyers and increasing property values for sellers.

Process for Meth Lab Remediation

As with all projects, Cromwell Environmental approaches meth lab testing and cleanups from a science-based perspective. A potential meth house is given a full visual inspection by a trained environmental investigator, and samples are collected from surfaces suspected of being contaminated. These samples are then analyzed for meth residue and compared against the appropriate local or state standards. If meth lab cleanup is recommended, we create a scope of work detailing the next steps for meth remediation.

After the meth cleanup is complete, we take clearance samples to ensure and document adequate cleanup. We also issue a "Certificate of Fitness for Occupancy" if required.

Guarantee for Meth House Cleanup

Cromwell Environmental guarantees that through our meth cleanup process the building will pass clearance standards or we will continue working (at no additional charge), and retake clearance samples (also at no additional charge) until the project is successfully cleared.
